“Sweet Lou” D’Asaro

Lou D’Asaro has been singing and playing guitar in bands and other musical groups in Illinois and Wisconsin for thirty-five years.  Born and raised on the west side of Chicago and Oak Park, he is the son of musical pioneer Bette Eilers, who played trumpet with the CSO, Lyric Opera, Joffrey Ballet, and many others. Lou’s background is a mix of classical and popular; he sang tenor (and occasionally baritone) for eight years with a small classical choral group; he sang tenor for three seasons with the UW-Whitewater Gospel Choir, occasionally soloing. Lou has played electric guitar in blues-rock bands for 35 years.

In Spring, 2008, at the urging of some of the musicians he played with casually, he started Sweet Lou’s Rhythm and Blues. Lou is a partner at PostEfx in Chicago. http://www.PostEfx.com. He lives just west of Chicago with Shaggy, his mixed breed shelter dog.

Surprised by a PI who takes his picture - Lou is running out GFs back door
